Hahah. One of the perks of having a well-paying job, and a credit card. XD I'm really hoping they raise enough to have it on consoles, and that they meet that new stretch goal of online co-op challenges with both Beck and Call.
Not really. It's kinda like the spiritual successor to Megaman. It's being developed by Keiji Inafune, who of course worked and developed most all of the Megaman games. They have a Kickstarter going to get funds to develop the game and deeper involve us fans.
Even if it didn't make it to there goal, it's bound to come to home consoles anyways, since the revenue after the kickstarter will help that because of the sales, but I agree, I would rather have this as a console game instead. hopefully, Capcom doesn't mess with us again. You never know, maybe Inafune would buy the rights to MegaMan and both Mighty Nom. 9 would cross one day? That would be cool.
True true! It really would make a better console game I think.
Yaaa in some ways I'm kinda glad that Inafune left CAPCOM and started up Comcept. He said the reason he left was because he climbed as high as he could go and there was nothing more he could do. So I think that it's great that he's starting from the bottom again, developing something that can be his 100%. I always need to remind myself that he didn't create Megaman, he was just one of the artists who worked on it and from there he worked his way up to the top of the company. I feel like Mighty No. 9 will be a great breath of fresh air away from Megaman while still having that Mega-ish, Humans & Machines feel that Inafune loves so much.
Exactly! So either way, it is going to be a win for us. I knew about that, but I have a feeling it was a bit more then that, since lately, Capcom has been making some questionable decisions. And in the Kickstarter video, he stated that he wasn't happy with the Japanese video game studios or something like that, so I guess it is going to be like the 90's again, where he taught a lot of people even the most basic in game design is worth it.
Indeed, he didn't create it, he created Zero. After wanting Mighty so much, I feel like I should play all the MegaMan games up to date. Agreed, he has a great concept of what he wants to do.
